Latin America & Caribbean
Latin America and the Caribbean is one of the UN Global Compact’s most vibrant and fast-growing regions, engaging over 4,300 companies—nearly 60% of them small and medium-sized enterprises. With eleven active Country Networks, including the newly launched Caribbean Network, the region now ranks second globally in total participants.
Brazil and Mexico stand out among the world’s largest networks, while long-established networks in Chile, Argentina, and Colombia continue to drive progress alongside newer ones in Bolivia, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The region stands out for its strong culture of collaboration and learning—both locally and regionally—and for its ability to adapt global priorities to national contexts.
Through tailored local value propositions, the LAC region drives impact and scale by connecting global priorities with national realities. Through accelerator programmes, peer learning groups, learning platforms, and collective action initiatives, companies are translating their commitment to responsible business into tangible progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
