The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is the broadest common retail platform in Europe for monitoring and improving working conditions in all supplier countries and for all consumer goods.

This first annual report is intended to inform on the organisation´s activities in the year 2005 and before.It highlights achievements and challenges, gives an insight into organisational issues, illustrates the progress made in generating social compliance and presents BSCI´s goals for the future.
