This report succeeds our 2001, 2002, and 2003 Environment, Health, and Safety Reports and our 2004 Corporate Social Responsibility Report. Although our environment, health and safety performance continues to be an important focus of this report, we have expanded coverage to more fully discuss our economic and social impacts and contributions. This report is supplemented by our annual finacial reports, which include more detailed information on economic aspects of business activities.
We have prepared this report in a way that meets the "in accordance" specifications set forth by the Global Reporting Initiatives 2002 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
To achieve ongoing improvement, selected information and indicators have been subject to an internal review by our Audit Services Department, whose report is listed on page 89.
