Principle 6
We invested in a system of forward management of employment and skills. The purpose of this investment is to align the wishes of our collaborators in terms of professional development and the strategy of our company.
Our employees will this way maintain their employability on the labor market and it will fit over time.
Our work this year was to define the skill set required for the performance of different jobs and tasks performed by our consultants. To do so, we detached a consultant on a 4-month period. This same consultant also directed the second phase of this project which was the development of a computerized tool to manage all these skills for all our employees.
We now have the necessary tool to implement the forward management of employment and skills.
This project will allow us in 2011 to work in an objective way on the development of our staff in line with the strategy of our company.
Another consultant will be posted on this next year. The implementation of this project is planned on the first quarter of 20011.In terms of recruitment, and in order to eliminate any form of discrimination in hiring, we started a project to develop a tool for qualification of candidates. This tool will look at the details given by the candidate to define as objectively as possible the adequacy of the candidate’s skills with those required for available positions.
We are also currently signing the Diversity Charter. Once we sign this charter, the information will be distributed to each candidate and present on any job advertisement that we publish.
In the same way that our joining to the Global Compact is served on our intranet, our signature to the Charter of diversity will be also.

Principle 8 :
Regarding the responsibility of our company's environmental, here are the steps we have taken:
Reduce our electricity consumption:
All weekend, we switch our heating system in economy mode to lower the temperature of our office by 3 degrees Celsius.
All of our lighting system is equipped with light bulbs or tubes at low energy consumption.
Computers and monitors which are not being used are systematically extinguished.
Waste reduction:
We have reduced our consumption of mineral water bottles by 90%. We now filter the water. The used filters are sent back to the store for recycling.
We refer the ink cartridges from our printers to our dealer who recycles them.
We usually prefer those vendors with a label for sustainable development. The waste is sorted at our institution.
The documents which have been printed and which are not confidential, in the vast majority are retained and used as scrap paper.
Carbon emission reduction:
To reduce some of our carbon emissions, the managers of Egerie have chosen for their professional appointments to travel by using public transport. We estimate to have reduced our carbon emissions by 1.5 tons a year.
