In this annual Communication on Progress, we describe our actions to continually improve the integration of the Global Compact and its principles into our business strategy, culture and daily operations. The UN Global Compact is a principle-based framework for businesses, stating ten principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. Alpplas Endüstriyel Yatırımlar A.Ş. is one of the companies that signed the United Nations Global Compact. We develop and manage all our business strategies and operations according to the laws and requirements of the United Nations Global Compact and respecting to the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We espectate all our stakeholders know our ethical rules.

1. In the orientation trainings given to all employees at the beginning of the job, information is given about human rights and working conditions.
2. During the orienting trainings, we share Alpplas Ethics Rules hand book with our employee.
3. All our stakeholders can notify Alpplas Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Management when they notice situations and events that conflict with our ethical principles or that may harm our company and our subsidiaries and damage its reputation.

4. Our ethical rules procedure is sent to all our suppliers together with the supplier contract and it is expected to be signed.

1. During the reporting period, no risk were identified against the enterprise about the bribe, corruption and discrimination.
2. During the reporting period no unsuitability were identified legal audit.
3. Sedex is one of the world's leading ethical trade service providers, working to improve working conditions in global supply chains. Sedex enables businesses to work together to better manage their social and environmental performance and improve working conditions throughout the supply chain.
Alpplas Endüstriyel Yatırımlar one of the company that are members of Sedex and our Istanbul Plant has successfully completed the SEDEX Virtual Assessment 4 Pillar audit since 2017 and our Bolu Plant since 2018 and also Sedex publishes audit reports on its platform.
4. We have successfully completed the Social Compliance Audits conducted by 3rd party auditors.

2. In Alpplas Endüstriyel Yatırımlar A.Ş., there is no employee working with a salary below the officially determined minimum wage.

4. Alpplas does not to discriminate about the employment and occupation.

1. For the health needs of the employees, full-time doctors and nurses and experts on occupational safety have been appointed.
2. Our all employees are covered by compulsory health insurance.

Our company carries out its environmental management and commitments in this direction in accordance with international management systems. We manage our environmental management and system according to ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Standard. We raise awaraness of our employees with the training. 1. Office and production areas wastes are separated according to groups
2. We have hazardous and non-hazardous temporary waste storage areas. Wastes are sent to recycling or disposal facilities according to their content.
3. Our Environmental Procedures located on all panels in the production areas. Environmental awareness training is given by consultants twice a year.
4. In order to minimize the use of hazardous materials and ensure that they are stored safely, we have our Hazardous Substance Management Procedure and Chemical Materials Management Procedure attached.
5. Bolu and İstanbul Plants have environmental consultants.
6. Circular water is used in our production and used water is be disposed.
